What a show! Trump and Putin meet in Alaska on 8/15/25. Red carpets, fighter jets and a B2 stealth bomber. A spectacle sure to have cost American taxpayers tens of million dollars. It was what it was always intended to be, a photo op for Trump and Putin to appear on the world stage. Putin played Trump for the pompous fool he is.
Trump promised serious consequences if Putin did not agree to a ceasefire. Trump said he would increase sanctions on Russia and levy high tariffs on countries buying Russian crude oil if an agreement was not reached. Naturally, the pathological liar and chickenhawk was just talking tough for the cameras. TACO (Trump always chickens out) Trump never planned to take a tough stand against the killer Putin.
The meeting between Trump and Putin lasted just a few hours. At the concluding “press conference”, no questions were taken and Putin talked twice as long as Trump. Putin, like all smarter people, flattered Trump multiple times. Trump took the opportunity in his brief remarks to repeat, twice, his complaints about the alleged “Russia, Russia, Russia hoax.” However, the alleged Russia hoax was about the 2016 election that Trump won. Yet, on July 21, 2025, on Truth Social, Trump asserted “Obama himself manufactured the Russia, Russia, Russia HOAX. Crooked Hillary, Sleepy Joe, and numerous others participated in this, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY! Irrefutable EVIDENCE. A major threat to our Country!!!”. Given Trump’s subservience to Russia, the allegations that Putin actively sought to get Trump elected and that Trump was taped by the KGB (FSB) in a Moscow hotel doing perverse things with Russian prostitutes, may be true.
Trump has lost all credibility. He is the most pro-Russia Republican in history. The MAGA supporters who voted for him didn’t know he was a Russian sympathizer; Now the world knows, for sure. Taking sides with the Russian killer cements Trump’s legacy in infamy.
